A client from the railroad industry approached Technimetal Precision Industries Corporation to laser cut a steel motor mount cover. We first used an Amada laser to laser cut the sheet metal to a flat pattern layout. After bending 90° angles, and procuring a source forged eyelet, we TIG welded and powder coated the mount cover. While manufacturing the 11 gauge, 24" long, 13" wide and 9" high steel cover, we held tightest tolerances of ±.010".

After a 100% dimensional inspection, we delivered the 20 steel motor mount covers to the client.
